Loratadine

Indications/Uses

Symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria & other dermatological disorder.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn 2-12 yr & >30 kg 1 tab or 10 mL daily. Childn 2-12 yr & <30 kg ½ tab or 5 mL daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Severe hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Rarely, headache, sedation, nervousness.

Ketoconazole, erythromycin, cimetidine & other hepatic enzyme inhibitors.
